The Bloom Lounge is the realization of a dream shared by two engineers with a love for food, design, and hospitality. In 2019, Jorge, a professional baker and cake decorator with over a decade of experience, launched Rum Cakes Factory, a scratch-made bakery celebrated for its signature rum-soaked cakes and edible artistry. As the bakery thrived, Jorge and Javier envisioned something even more immersive — a space where food, creativity, and community could come together.

That vision evolved into The Bloom Lounge: a bistro-style restaurant rooted in the warmth of homemade flavors and elevated by global inspiration. Jorge and Javier assembled a diverse team of cooks, bakers, and creatives, each bringing their own stories, cultures, and techniques. Jorge Saab, of Lebanese and Venezuelan heritage, brings a rare combination of technical precision and culinary artistry to The Bloom Lounge. Influenced by his Lebanese roots, his approach to both cuisine and business blends tradition, creativity, and hospitality with modern innovation. With a background in industrial maintenance engineering, he approaches every recipe, dessert, and menu design with methodical creativity and exacting attention to detail.

Trained professionally in baking and cake artistry, Jorge honed his skills at Rum Cakes Factory before co-founding The Bloom Lounge. Today, he shapes the restaurant’s menu as a pastry chef, cake artist, and menu developer, crafting dishes that blend modern innovation with classic comfort. His signature creations — from the renowned Bloom pancakes to decadent desserts and thoughtfully composed mains — have become favorites among guests, defining the restaurant’s distinctive culinary identity.
