In 2019, Jorge Saab—an artisan baker with over a decade of experience in baking and cake decoration—began his journey with Rum Cakes Factory. His passion for crafting desserts from scratch, developing unique recipes, and turning cakes into edible art quickly earned him a loyal following. Alongside Javier Osorio, they built a bakery that blended tradition with innovation, offering more than just sweets—it offered experiences.

As their culinary dreams grew, Jorge and Javier found the perfect partner in Chef Ingrid Rincon, a Venezuelan chef with a bold spirit and a deep love for Asian and Latin fusion cuisine. From the very beginning, Ingrid worked closely with Jorge on every detail of the menu. Together, they poured their hearts into every recipe, infusing each dish with soul, storytelling, and the kind of care that can only come from true passion.

Born and raised in Venezuela, Chef Ingrid Rincon, graduated in Concasse international culinary school, is the soul of our kitchen and the heart behind the fusion that defines The Bloom Lounge. With a deep admiration for Asian culture and a rich culinary background in French and Asian fusion cuisine, Ingrid brings a unique perspective to every dish.

From the very beginning, Ingrid worked hand in hand with Jorge Saab, carefully crafting every detail of the menu. Together, they poured their hearts into every recipe—infusing it with memories, experiences, and the kind of love only true passion can deliver. Their collaboration wasn’t just professional—it was personal.
